CALENDAR & TASKS
Book an appointment and set your hours
Add appointments to your calendar with the customer, time and place. Intralyn checks your business hours and warns you before you double-book.
Steps
Open Calendar and choose New appointment.
Add a Title and pick the Customer.
Optionally choose an Appointment type to fill in the length, price and color for you.
Set Starts and Ends. Times use your business time zone unless you change Time zone.
Add a Location / meeting link and any Customer-facing notes for the confirmation.
Tick Bill the customer when done if a draft invoice should be created when you mark it Completed.
Choose Save appointment.
Business hours and double-booking
Set your open days and hours in Business settings → Business details → Hours for appointments, along with an optional gap between appointments. If a time is outside your hours, Intralyn tells you; you can still book it by choosing to book outside your hours and adding a short reason. If a time clashes with another appointment, pick another time.
Send a confirmation
Open the appointment and use Appointment confirmation to download, print or send a branded confirmation with the date, time, location and your contact details. It isn’t sent automatically; you share the link or print it.
Appointment reminders
On Starter, Pro and Business, Intralyn can remind customers before each appointment (24 hours before by default). Change the timing in Business settings → Automations. Reminders are emailed when email sending is set up for your account; otherwise they wait in Today on Home for you to send.
