QUOTES
Send a quote and let your customer accept it online
Send your quote as a private link. Your customer can accept it by typing their name, or decline it, and you’re told right away.
Steps
Open the quote from Documents.
Under Send this quote, choose Send.
Pick how to send it: email it (from your own mail app, or straight from Intralyn when email sending is set up for your account), send a Text message, or Copy link and paste it anywhere.
Your customer opens the link, reviews the quote on your letterhead and, under Ready to go ahead?, types their full name and chooses Accept quote, or chooses Decline. They can add a note.
You see their answer in Today on Home and in the quote’s Activity.
Other ways to share
Choose Download PDF or Print to hand it over yourself. A downloaded PDF is also your own copy of the quote as it looks today.
Turning online approval on or off
Online approval is on for every plan. To turn it off, open Business settings → Automations and switch off Online quote approval.
Questions
- What happens after a customer accepts?
- On Pro and Business, a draft invoice is created for you to review (you can change this in Business settings → Automations). On other plans, open the quote and choose Turn into invoice.
