Turn on two-step verification
Two-step verification adds a 6-digit code from an app on your phone each time you log in, so your password alone isn’t enough to get in. It’s free and strongly recommended.
Steps
Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or 1Password.
In Intralyn, open Business settings → Security and choose Turn on two-step verification.
In the app, tap + or Add account, then scan the QR code. Can’t scan it? Choose Can’t scan the code? Enter a setup key and type the key instead.
Enter the 6-digit code the app shows for Intralyn and choose Turn on.
Save your recovery codes: Copy codes or Download, keep them somewhere safe, tick I saved my recovery codes in a safe place and choose Done.
Lost your phone?
On the code screen, choose Lost your phone? Use a recovery code and enter one of your saved codes. Each code works once. Then set up two-step verification again on your new phone.
No phone and no recovery codes? Email admin@intralyn.com from your account email and we’ll help you get back in.
New codes or turning it off
In Business settings → Security, choose New recovery codes to replace your old codes, or Turn off (you’ll confirm with your password and a code).
