Steps

  1. Open Jobs and choose New job.

  2. Enter a Job name, choose the Customer and a Status (Lead, Quoted, Scheduled, In progress, Completed, Invoiced or Paid).

  3. Add the site, dates and notes if you like, then choose Create job.

  4. Open the job to add its quotes, invoices, tasks, appointments, expenses and bills.

  5. When you start a timer or log a trip, pick the job so its time and miles add up there.

Job profit and unbilled work

Each job shows what you invoiced minus its costs (expenses, bills, labor and mileage). Billable time and miles not yet invoiced appear under Unbilled work on this job, where Invoice unbilled work creates a draft invoice.
