Use a promo code
Enter a promo code when you sign up, or later in Plan & billing. A code adds a plan to your business, sometimes for a set time.
Steps
Open Plan & billing.
Under Have a promo code?, type your code.
Choose Apply. A message tells you which plan was added, and until when.
Adding a code when you sign up
On the sign-up page, open Have a promo code? and type it before you choose Create free account. If the code can’t be added, your account is still created and you can try again in Plan & billing.
If a code doesn’t work
- “That promo code isn’t valid”: check the spelling. Codes use letters, numbers and dashes.
- “That promo code has expired” or “has already been used the maximum number of times”: the offer has ended.
- “This business has already used that promo code”: each code works once per business.
- “You already have a paid plan, so this code can’t be added”: codes are for businesses on Free.
- “Too many promo code attempts”: wait an hour and try again.
