The description, price and tax setting fill in from your products & services; a camera button scans barcodes where the browser supports it.

WHICH PLAN
Our suggestion for auto repair shops
Shops that keep parts on the shelf get the most from Pro: invoices take parts off stock automatically, and purchase orders can be received into stock. Part-number entry is on every plan, and stock counts start at Starter.
Yes. Where your device’s browser can read barcodes, the part number field has a camera button. A USB barcode scanner that types into the field works too, and typing always works.
Can I show the vehicle on the invoice?
Yes. Use the PO number / job reference field for the year, make, model and mileage, and keep notes on the customer’s record. Intralyn doesn’t have built-in vehicle records or VIN lookup.
Is labor taxed separately from parts?
Each line has its own taxable box, so parts can be taxed while labor isn’t. Tax-exempt fleet customers have tax removed, with their certificate printed on the invoice.
Can I order parts from my vendors?
On Pro and Business, create purchase orders to your vendors and receive them into stock when the parts arrive.
Can customers pay by card?
Not through Intralyn yet. Take card payments with your own reader, then record them in Intralyn so the invoice, receipt and books update together.
