THE PROBLEM

The hard parts of a pool route

  • Monthly billing for weekly visits

Four or five visits a month, chemical add-ons, a filter clean, and one invoice that has to add it all up correctly.

  • Chemicals walking off the truck

Chlorine tabs and acid are a real cost, and running out mid-route means a second trip.

  • Repairs that never get billed

The pump seal you replaced on Tuesday deserves its own line, not a mental note.

FAQ

Questions pool service businesses ask

Can I bill monthly for weekly visits?

Yes. On Pro and Business, combined work invoices put all of a customer’s finished visits on one weekly or monthly invoice. On paid plans, a fixed monthly rate can also be a recurring invoice (Starter includes 3 schedules).

Can I record chemical readings?

Use the visit’s task checklist and notes to record what you tested and added. Intralyn doesn’t have a dedicated water chemistry log.

Can I track chemical inventory?

On Starter and up, track stock on hand with counts and low-stock alerts. On Pro and Business, invoicing takes items off stock automatically.

Does the mileage log use GPS?

No. You add each trip, or a day’s route, with its miles, and Intralyn applies the IRS standard mileage rate and totals your estimated deduction.

Can I use it on my phone at the pool?

Yes. Intralyn runs in your phone’s web browser, so checklists, invoices and receipts are there without installing an app.
