THE PROBLEM

What costs a salon its afternoon

  • Double-booked chairs

A 90-minute color squeezed next to a 30-minute cut is how the afternoon runs late.

  • No-shows

An empty chair at 2 p.m. is revenue you can’t get back.

  • Retail on the shelf, not in the books

Shampoo and styling products sell all week, and nobody knows what to reorder.

FAQ

Questions salons and barbers ask

Can clients book appointments online?

Not yet. You or your front desk book appointments in the Intralyn calendar, which checks for conflicts, and clients get a branded confirmation by link.

Can I take card payments at the chair?

Not through Intralyn. Take the payment with your card reader as you do now, then record it in Intralyn so the invoice, receipt and books update together.

Does it handle commissions or payroll?

No. Intralyn doesn’t calculate commissions or run payroll. On Business, each person has their own bill rate and cost, so profit reflects who did the work.

Can each stylist have their own login?

Yes. Starter includes 2 people, Pro 5 and Business 15, each with their own login and the permissions you choose.

Can I sell gift certificates?

You can print or share gift certificates from the template on Pro and Business. Intralyn doesn’t track gift card balances.
